Our Story

DiGregorio Drywall LLC is built on a rich legacy that began in 1935 when Salvatore DiGregorio founded S. DiGregorio & Son, Inc. Initially, the company focused on plastering services, and it quickly earned a reputation for quality and reliability. In 1954, Salvatore’s eldest son, John Sr., joined the business. Together, they expanded into the commercial drywall market. Under John Sr.’s leadership, the company thrived, successfully sub-contracting hundreds of commercial projects in the metropolitan area.

The mid-1980s marked a significant transition for the company, as the third generation of the DiGregorio family joined the business. This new generation brought fresh perspectives and innovative approaches, helping the company adapt to the evolving demands of the construction industry.

In 2009, DiGregorio Drywall LLC was established, continuing the family tradition while expanding the company’s reach and capabilities.

Today, DiGregorio Drywall LLC is recognized as one of the leading commercial and residential contractors in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the high standards set by our founders, ensuring that every project we undertake is completed with the same level of excellence and precision.

Our Experience

With over 40 years of experience in the industry, our team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. We specialize in a wide range of services, including hi-rise residential drywall projects, interior and structural metal stud framing, drywall and shaft systems, thermal and acoustical insulation, acoustical ceiling systems, light gauge and structural metal framing systems, and textured ceilings. Additionally, we are a certified commercial installer of DuPont weatherization systems (Tyvek), ensuring that our projects are built to withstand the elements.
